Returns & Refund Policy
You have 30 days from delivery or collection to return a container or ISO tank you are not satisfied with. This page sets out exactly how that works, what it costs, and how quickly you are refunded.

30-day return window
Every unit sold by MASILO GLOBAL CONTAINERS (PTY) LTD may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery or depot collection. To start a return, email info@masilocontainers.shop or call +27 73 473 3143 with your order number. We issue a return authorisation number and book the collection slot with you.
Condition the unit must be in
- The unit must be empty, swept out and free of goods, fuel, gas residue or waste.
- No modifications, cut openings, welding, painting, decals or drilled fixings may have been made after delivery.
- Serial and CSC plates must be intact and match the plate recorded on your invoice.
- New damage beyond fair inspection wear is assessed and deducted from the refund at repair cost.
Return freight and restocking
- The buyer pays the return transport cost. We can arrange collection at our published tariff and deduct it from the refund, or you may return the unit to our Johannesburg depot yourself.
- Units returned to the depot by the buyer carry no collection charge.
- Where the unit is faulty, misdescribed or the wrong item was delivered, we pay the return freight in full.
- Custom-fabricated and modified builds are made to your specification and cannot be returned for change of mind. Faulty workmanship is repaired or refunded.
Refunds
Refunds are paid to the account that made the original payment within 10 business days of the unit passing return inspection at our depot. Card payments processed on our terminal are reversed to the same card. We confirm the refund amount in writing before processing it.
Cancelling before dispatch
An order cancelled before the unit leaves the depot is refunded in full, including any freight already paid. Once a truck has been dispatched, the freight leg becomes payable even if the unit is turned away on site.
Faults and your rights in law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Section 56 gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose, for repair, replacement or a refund at your election. Report any defect to us as soon as you find it and we will inspect the unit at our cost.
