What is the difference between One-Trip, Cargo Worthy, Wind & Water Tight and As-Is?

One-Trip units have made a single loaded voyage and are near-new. Cargo Worthy units pass a structural survey and may still be shipped internationally. Wind & Water Tight units are sound for storage but not certified for shipping. As-Is units are sold with known defects listed on the invoice and are priced accordingly.

Can I inspect a container before I pay?

Yes. Inspections are welcome at our Johannesburg depot during Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 SAST · Saturday, 08:00–13:00. Phone +27 73 473 3143 first so the unit is staged and someone is available to walk it with you.

How much does delivery cost?

Freight is rated per load from our Johannesburg depot: a base charge plus a per-kilometre rate for flatbed or tilt-bed, weighted by container size. Depot collection is free. Checkout estimates the cost from your postal code and dispatch confirms the routed distance before booking.

What does my site need for a tilt-bed delivery?

About 30 m of straight-line clearance behind the placement point, firm level ground, and no overhead cables, branches or canopies on the approach. Placement is single-attempt — repositioning needs a return visit at tariff.

What if I choose flatbed freight?

Flatbed is cheaper but you must offload. A crane, telehandler or a forklift rated above the loaded weight of the unit must be on site and operating at the delivery window. The driver cannot offload a flatbed load.

How long does delivery take?

Gauteng metro deliveries run 2 to 4 business days from cleared payment; other provinces 4 to 10 business days depending on load consolidation. Modified builds add the fabrication time confirmed on your quotation.

How can I pay?

EFT bank transfer in Rand, card processed on our terminal, a 50% deposit split with the balance before loading, or approved financing. Nothing is dispatched or released until funds reflect in our account.

Do you deliver outside South Africa?

Cross-border deliveries into SADC countries are quoted individually, including permits and border documentation. Send the destination and the unit you need and we will price the lane.

Can I return a container?

Yes — within 30 days of delivery, provided the unit is empty and unmodified. Return transport is for the buyer's account unless the unit was faulty or misdescribed. Refunds are paid within 10 business days of return inspection.

Will I get the serial number and CSC plate details?

Yes. The container serial (BIC code) and CSC plate status are recorded on your formal quotation and invoice, which matters if you plan to ship the unit or need it for an insurance or municipal submission.

Are your ISO propane tanks certified?

ISO propane and LPG tanks are supplied with their available test and inspection documentation, and the current status is stated on the listing and quotation. Tell us your intended service and pressure requirement so we match the right tank.

Do you do modifications?

We fit lockboxes, roll-up doors, personnel doors, windows, spray-foam insulation, electrical reticulation, shelving and custom paint, and we build site offices, ablutions and retail conversions. Configure options on any product page or send us your drawing.

Can a container be moved once it is placed?

Yes, but not by the delivering truck after it leaves. Plan the final position before delivery day; a repositioning visit is charged at tariff.

Do I need council approval to place a container?

Requirements differ by municipality and zoning. Temporary site containers are usually accepted with landowner consent, while permanent occupied structures normally need approval. Confirm with your local authority — we can supply unit dimensions and weights for your submission.
